We dont have a single pitcher who is effective at working up and in as well as low in the zone. Way too many of our pitches pitch on the upper part of the zone and leave too many pitches middle middle. Then add the fact this isnt a “stuff” staff and you have the chance to give up a lot of homers.
For me Shota is the most frustrating. He has the profile to keep the ball down but doesnt.
